About this speaker
Erica Tatum-Sheade is a licensed clinical social worker, registered play therapist, and Certified Daring Way Facilitator™ practicing in Scottsdale Arizona. She co-owns Integrated Mental Health Associates and the Arizona Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy Training.
In 2018, after seeing a growing need for support for young girls, she created a group curriculum called G.E.M.S.® (Girls Empowered, Motivated, and Strong), where she teaches concepts of confidence, empowerment, self-esteem, and authenticity to girls from elementary through high school. She provides training and public speaking on mental health, shame-fighting, and parenting to the public and other helping professionals.
She is also the CMC (Chief Mom in Charge) in helping her family run the online clothing company FCK (Fight Confront and Knockout) The Stigma, aimed at creating conversations around mental health one shirt at a time. One of the 2021 NAWBO Arizona Woman of Vision award winners and the 2022 National Association of Social Worker-Arizona Chapter Social Worker of the Year, Erica serves her community and her purpose by advocating and volunteering for organizations she believes are doing what she calls “hearts work.”
